Main Characters

Grey with golden flecked eyes, like gold coins lost amongst the river stones in a cool, clear stream. Logan is shy, preferring to merge in with the background. Thrown back in time he has strange memories and a raw terror at the thought of having to lead the group. Forced to confront his fears, he learns what is means to lead and care for those around him.

Logan

Having adopted Logan as his best friend, he encourages him in his faltering attempts to lead their group. His eyes of dark brown crinkle as he smiles, smoothing tempers and keeping an eye on the younger ones. Everything changes when disaster hits, blaming himself for not being strong enough to fix it.

Corry

Frustrated at being lost back in time, he tries to lead the group when Logan refuses. His light brown eyes hide a knowledge of history that the entire group relies on. However his attempt to stop them changing the past are seen as boring lectures by most who bother to listen.

Glen

Piercing cobalt blue eyes contrast to his relaxed view on leading the group with Glen, though he’d much rather be back home on the court playing basketball. Being captured and enslaved, he feared the worst but he could never have been prepared for where he ended up.

Roy

He is obsessed with finding a way back, grabbing at every theory he can think up. His hope is that he can reason out a way back home to the future. The group’s ideas to make it home don’t make sense to Duncan, but his onyx brown eyes observe their hope, so he remains silent. Not that the group really listens to him anyway, not until it is too late.

Duncan

His loud voice and red hair make Marcus stand out and he is not one to back down from a challenge. However, a disaster which he fled from cause the group to look at him differently. His resentment causing more problems as the group try to make their way home. The chance to finally redeem himself happening in an unexpected way.

Marcus

He is the one tasked with healing and cooking for the group, taking after his grandmother in many ways. His heavy teal eyes carry the large responsibility but he is happy to be helpful to those around him. One day an unexpected change causes him to question everything around him, even as he hangs onto the slim hope that he will see Logan again.

Struan

The dark phone screen in his hands reflects his cool brown eyes, the battery dead. The world around him ever changing, so this trip back in time is nothing new. Rutendo sees it as an adventure but does hope to make it back home someday, the lack of anything modern starting to become boring.

Rutendo

Preferring the company of animals instead of people, he becomes the one who looks after their horses. His blue eyes draped with white streaks, take wonder at the natural world, saving what he can. It’s the memories of last time and what he did which haunt him, would he ever do it again?

Noah

He places another branch on the fire, the flames catching it alight, reflected in his amber eyes. Nobody argues when he makes himself in charge of all the cooking fires. His ability to keep the flames burning even when wet is appreciated by the group, but it raises a few eyebrows as well.

Haden

His brown eyes glare at the water avoiding contact with Logan. It has been a while since the betrayal but it still hurts. He could understand why it had happened, even if he could think of a million other ways it could have gone down. One day he would go back, one day he would correct what had gone wrong.

Joe

He lifts the crossbow to his golden brown eye, letting the bolt fly at the tree in the distance. Scars still cover his hands, ones that will probably never heal. The scars inside just as bad but not visible. Building things helps, with Logan’s support he was able to make this crossbow from scavenged material. But what will it take to forget and forgive.

Zac

His green speckled eyes lift to find Logan. He can’t explain why but Logan is the key to surviving back here and he makes sure he’s never far from him. But the confusing part is why Logan won’t lead the group like last time. When disaster strikes and he is separated from Logan his hope dwindles as the days keep sliding by.

Rylee

He is one of the smaller members of the group but tries to make up for it with funny comments, which can annoy them at times. His attempts to make real friends are not as successful as he’d hoped, so he tries to be useful. His hazel eyes with a ripple of orange streaks watching for opportunities. At least Corry keeps an eye on him like a big brother would.
