Even dragging his entire army of soldiers deep into the forest to face down the ragtag bunch of kids who have made their home in the king’s old watchtower.

The daughter of Osfrid and Cynwise, she has a chance encounter with Rutendo while gathering food in the forest. Bringing her family to the watchtower, her already battered hopes are dashed on arrival.
Tiffany
A simple rural farmer and his wife, their world is upended when a plague hits. Escaping to the forest, they end up outside the watchtower that a strange group has made their home. They only hope that the new lord will take pity on them and let them stay.

A betting man who enjoys the tournaments the king puts on, he unfortunately finds himself annoyingly short of a knight. A young man at the corner blacksmiths says he knows someone who can fight with a sword. But will they be up to his standards, and more importantly, will they fit into the new armour he spent good money on?

Second in command on Harold’s boat, he knows every board like the back of his hand. This new group of young travellers on board have some strange idea, but also have a courage and blind faith in making it to their destination, that Godric can’t help being swept along.
