Back at the Sword Palace, Logan wondered what he was doing. Trying to give back the Crystal Sword, the sword he’d managed to win in a tournament here only a week ago.

So here he was, fighting this man in a black robe after The Kino Three had refused to take it back. Why would anyone refuse the strongest and most beautiful sword in the world? It doesn’t make any sense.  

A memory of fighting this man in a muddy pit swept across Logan, making him falter. He’d been having these haunted memories recently, memories like this that he couldn’t explain.

He took another swipe at his opponent, who ducked out of the way. The strangest part being the seamless way he flowed through fighting moves he never remembered learning…
