Logan and the Crystal Sword Series
A shiny gray sword made especially for Logan by his grandpa. It sits in the scabbard over his left shoulder. This is his favorite sword that he uses for training every day.
Swords
Normal Sword
Shield Sword
A shiny gray sword with a thick blade, it opens up into a shield with the push of a button on the handle. It sits in the scabbard over Logan’s right shoulder.
Crystal Sword
A sword made of an unknown crystal substance with a golden handle, strange markings covering its surface. It can cut through almost anything with ease. Logan won it at the Sword Palace from the Kino three, he has his suspicions about it but he’s never heard of a time traveling sword before.
Scabbards
Logan’s black scabbards are short and look like leather but are a new microfiber tech, that strengthen them and is lighter. They fit to his back and can hold a sword longer than its length. Logan isn’t sure how they work yet.
Magic
Blindsight
Like a live 3D satellite image, but a lot clearer and with a narrow view. Logan can see what is around him as long as his normal sword is in his hand or scabbard. He can shift his view around, but going too far from his present position exhausts him. Logan can’t zoom out, only stretch what ground he can see in one go, and he can’t stretch very far. But with practise he can see more every day.
Stillshifting
Logan can instantly jump to anywhere his eyes can see, as long as a sword is in his hand or scabbard. This skill makes sense in a fight, but not so much in a dark forest where he can’t see very far. Logan refuses to use this skill except in dire situations as he passes out afterwards every time.
Time Travel
Logan has no idea how to time travel or how he ended up in the past. He is pretty sure it’s his new Crystal Sword but has no way of knowing and there isn’t anyone around who can tell him. Surely his mentor, his grandpa, who taught him how to fight with his swords and encouraged his training in the other skills would have mentioned something. The rest of the group has some strong ideas and theories, but for now, it remains a mystery.
